In order to broaden the learning opportunities for the students at Loras College and Clarke University, the two libraries have been exploring potential shared offerings that will improve the experiences of students at both institutions. We started by looking at sharing a catalog platform, interlibrary loan service, and databases, offering a shared reference chat service, coordinating collection development and more. Meeting directors at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University in Minnesota gave us more ideas and information on how it might work in practice. We will discuss what we've worked on this far, what we've put off to consider later, and what's in our plans for the near future.
